EXPERIENCE
Allyson is a licensed therapist with 10 years of experience in the mental health field, including eight years in clinical practice. She has worked across a variety of settings, including private practice, inpatient care, and school-based environments. Allyson specializes in supporting teens and young adults but has experience working with clients across the lifespan.
She has extensive experience addressing a range of mental health concerns, including complex trauma, depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and borderline personality disorder. In addition to being a strong ally, Allyson has done extensive work with LGBTQIA+ youth and is committed to providing inclusive, affirming, and identity-sensitive care for all ages.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Brainspotting, and Structural Family Therapy to best meet each client's unique needs.
