EXPERIENCE

Amy has over seven years of experience providing mental health therapy with a wide range of individuals across the life span. In addition to private practice, Amy has experience in home-based and community mental health settings. She is trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused-CBT as well mind-body and play therapy approaches. She offers a compassionate and affirming space where individuals can explore their current internal landscape, the impact of their past experiences, and their goals for the future. Amy works with children and adolescents, and their families to address the child's mental health needs as well as family dynamics to better support the whole family. Amy also works with adults with anxiety, depression, trauma and specializes in treating sexual trauma.

Alongside these skills, Amy is also a Reiki practitioner (an energy healing modality).
