Brittany Waitt MS, LMHCA
Brittany is an Associate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who provides therapy through a child-centered, trauma-informed,and play therapy lens. She strives to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where children, adolescents, and families feel supported in exploring their experiences at their own pace. Brittany believes that play is a child's natural language and utilizes play therapy to help children express emotions, process experiences, strengthen relationships, and discover their unique strengths. She values authenticity and models self-compassion, self-acceptance, and accountability, inviting clients to show up exactly as they are.
She is passionate about partnering with caregivers to strengthen connection and foster relationships grounded in unconditional positive regard. While Brittany enjoys working with clients across the lifespan, she has a special passion for supporting young children (2+), as well as tweens and teens. As a transracial adoptee, she also values supporting individuals and families within the adoption constellation through a compassionate, trauma-informed approach. Grounded in empathy, patience, curiosity, and genuine connection, Brittany is committed to helping children and families feel seen, understood, and empowered to thrive.
