EXPERIENCE

Throughout the 18 years of her career, Jessica has put her time and attention on trauma work that include research and understanding of how the body holds trauma and how it can heal itself. Along the way - this has led to a certification in Brainspotting and training in Internal Family Systems. Jessica is also acquired her SEP (Somatic Experiencing Practitioner) and is a Reiki Master. She has experienced the innate energy of the nervous systema and learned how to help client's experience release. Most recently, Jessica has begun training in herbal medicinal practices!

She's primarily worked with adults and adolescents addressing anxiety/depression, trauma, PTSD and complex trauma (including Developmental Trauma). In the past she has really enjoyed supporting the parents of children diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and Oppositional Defiant Disorder (currently known as Pathological Demand Avoidance). She has a special interest in Brainspotting – a focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of challenging symptoms. And yes, she work with veterans. Jessica is a veteran herself, serving in the Army National Guard for 6 years with one deployment to Kuwait.
