Megan earned her master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Counseling Education in July of 2022 from Indiana University Bloomington and is currently working towards associate licensure. In the past, she has worked with children and teenagers in transitional living situations that struggled with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns as well as with adults dealing with similar struggles in addition to substance use issues. She has also worked with families and couples to collaboratively develop healthy communication and deeper understandings of each other. Her approach to therapy comes from the notion that "You are the expert of your own life", and she is there to walk with you in that exploration of yourselves. She tends to take a person-centered approach to allow you to choose which tools and techniques she has to offer that you want to use and keep.

Megan is Phase 1 trained in Brainspotting with a focus on attuning to BIPOC experiences. Brainspotting is a treatment method that works with the mind and the body together to help identify, process, and release core neurophysiological sources of emotional body pain, trauma, and a variety of other symptoms.
