Yoga Classes

MindFit Counseling and Wellness Center offers 4 types of Yoga classes for somatic exploration, body attunement and overall deeper processing. Restorative Yoga - These classes are instructed by a licensed therapist that is also a registered yoga instructor. The aim of these classes is to help you explore your body somatically and become more attuned through the use of breathwork. This should, of course, be in addition to whatever therapy services you are currently receiving. Trauma Informed Yoga - These classes are smaller in nature and offer a component of BrainSpotting or "focused mindfulness" within for the purpose of deeper processing. These classes may be more sensitive in nature compared to Restorative classes and therefore have less participants (with a max of 6) Grounding Flow and Vinyasa Flow - These classes are oriented with a flow and focus on balance poses and core work. The aim here is to be aware of your body while learning to breath through difficult experiences.
